The committee is concerned with water throughout Wareham and how to clean it up.  This includes surface water (lakes, ponds, rivers, streams and our beaches), ground water (water underground) and our drinking water (Plymouth Carver Aquifer).  The major source of pollution regarding these waters is nitrogen and phosporous.  The two major sources of these types of pollution are septic systems and cranberry bogs. We are looking at ways to correct these types of pollution.
