The Friends of the Wareham Free Library is a group of interested citizens who meet to offer programs and raise funds to supplement the operating budget of the library. The Friends also seek to promote the library in the community. If you enjoy the library and would like to work with an energetic group of people who also love books, please attend a Friends' meeting and introduce yourself!
The Friends meet on the fourth Thursday of most months at 7 PM in the library's Meeting Room. Meetings are casual and refreshments are served. Some of the activities of the Friends include the monthly and annual used book sales, the Holiday Fair, lectures and readings, and special events for children and their families. New ideas are always welcome, so lend your support!
