Beach Water Testing

The DPH (Mass Department of Public Health Bureau of Environmental Health Assessment), Environmental toxicology program (BEHA-ETP) is working in conjunction with Applied Geographics, Inc. (AGI) to electronically map all coastal bathing beaches in the commonwealth and categorize the beaches as public, semi-public or private, and establish total beach mileage.

The Wareham Board of Health Beach Water Testing Program began on June 24^th, 2003. Public and semi-public beaches are tested weekly for water quality.
