The Wareham Free Library's Reference Department contains current and historical books, directories, and local, state and federal government publications. The department also provides patrons with access to databases of articles and information about general topics, law, business, and health. The staff is available to serve all patrons with questions and reference assistance by mail, telephone, fax and e-mail.
The Reference Department is the location for Internet access and word processing computers. Any patron needing online access must sign a User's Agreement. Patrons under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature on the form. You may print out the User's Agreement in advance or pick one up in the Reference Department.
Computers for online access are available for one hour sessions. Times are strictly observed, so please plan accordingly. Printing costs .10 per page. Patrons may send and receive faxes for $1 per page.
Also available on library workstations are Excel, Access, Printshop and Powerpoint programs.
