CEMETERY RATES
Effective June 15, 2004 the Town of Wareham Board of Cemetery Commissioners have set
forth the following revised price list.
LOT SIZE LOT PERPETUAL CARE TOTAL
Single (1 grave) - $400.00 + $200.00 + $1.00 = $601.00
(1 grave)non-resident $600.00+$200.00+$1.00= $801.00
1/4 (2 graves) - $800.00 + $400.00 + $1.00 = $1,201.00
½ (4 graves) - $1,600.00 + $800. 00+$1.00= $2,401.00
3/4 (6 graves) - $2,400.00 + $1,200.00 + $1.00 = $3,601.00
Full Lot (8 graves) - $3,200.00 + $1,600.00 +$1.00 = $4,801.00
Grave Openings = $450.00 - Monday through Friday
Grave Openings = $900.00 - Saturday & Sunday (by special request)
Grave Openings = $1,300.00 - Holidays (by special request)
Note: Should a grave opening be required on a weekend or holiday for a Monday morning
funeral; weekend and/or holiday rates shall apply.
Grave Openings (Infant) = $200.00 ($300.00 WEEKENDS)
Cost of Grave (Infant) = $200.00
Interment of Cremation = $200.00 ($300.00 WEEKENDS)
Tent Rental - When a tent is requested, there shall be a tent rental charge of $150.00.
Notifications of funerals to the Municipal Maintenance Department must be made at least 48
hours prior to interments.
Overtime arrival after 2:30 P.M. $100.00 extra - $50.00 every additional half hour.
PERPETUAL CARE IS REQUIRED AND INCLUDED IN ALL PURCHASES OF LOTS.
ALL LOTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE MONUMENT MAY BE ERECTED.
FOUNDATIONS = $50.00 PER SQUARE FOOT.
