Wareham Free Library
Summer reading programs for children, teens, and adults at the Wareham Free Library and Spinney Branch are in full swing. Upcoming events include a graphic novel workshop for ages 10-16, evening Teddy Bear Storytimes for preschoolers and families, movie nights, Starlab planetarium shows, live animal shows, and more.

Family Movie, The Wizard of Oz – Wed., July 25, 6 pm
Music from Land’s End, Children’s Concert  – Thurs., July 26, 11 am
Starlab, Family Planetarium Show (Call library to register) – Tues., July 31, 11 am & 12 pm
Graphic Novel Workshop for Ages 10-16 (Call library to register) – Wed., Aug. 1, 6 pm
Summer Wars, Teen Movie (Ages 12-17) – Thurs., Aug. 2, 6-8 pm
World of Owls, Family Live Animal Show – Fri., Aug. 3, 1 pm

All of these events are free and open to the public. Some require pre-registration, due to limited space, but you do not have to be enrolled in the library’s summer reading program to attend. However, it’s not too late to join the 100 participants of all ages who have already signed up to be part of the summer reading at the Wareham Free Library or Spinney Branch and are eligible for prizes. To join in the fun, register online by July 28 to be eligible for prizes at www.warehamfreelibrary.org; click on the Dream Big–Read link to register and log your reading time each week.
