- Paving issue – CDM received on 5/4, mechanical analysis for all 48 bituminous cores taken on streets with Parkwood Beach and the Tempest Knob sections of the project; CDM has reviewed the results and in a brief meeting with the Town presented the findings; a sit down with Gioioso has yet to occur. Town has informed CDM that they are considering contacting a third party for comment; a formal meeting with all respective parties will be scheduled as soon as possible for discussion and final resolution of the issue. - Gioioso requested a decision on BETA’s recommendation from the Town as soon as possible so that final paving can be scheduled-Keating will be doing the final paving.
- No change – Regarding matter of lawn and road restoration, Gioioso after further review based upon comments made to CDM, has decided that this work will take place after wearing course of asphalt has been laid.
- CDM stated that the pump station O&M manuals were in good shape; Town stated that training is to be coordinated with Dan at the plant.
- Municipal Maintenance reported that Gioioso can do their final paving in the Parkwood Beach area and that they don’t have to wait for the gas company to relay any of their mains; gas company was told to install their mains in the shoulder of the road and not dig up any of Gioioso’s new paving. Parkwood Beach Association is looking for limits of the paving.
- Municipal Maintenance stated that they’d prefer that the Linwood/Ladd area be tied in sooner rather than later because of odor issues.
Work to be Completed in the Next Two Weeks:

- Grassetti will perform preliminary startup at each of the stations.
- Gioioso’s subcontractor (Todesca) will complete the stripping of existing paving and new paving on Parkwood Drive.
- Gioioso will complete the landscaping around the pump stations.
- Gioioso’s subcontractor may begin raising castings in advance of final paving.

- No change – As an FYI, Town stated they are mulling over constructing a fence along the road between lot 43-W30 and Lot 43-W31 on Linwood Ave.; Gioioso stated they had spotted boulders along the length between lots as a stop gap measure to prevent vehicle access.
- CDM stated that the grinder pump O&M’s have not been submitted; Gioioso to check on the status.
- A series of training for the grinder pumps has yet to be scheduled with the contractors that are to install them; Town stated that contractors will need a license and training before installing them.
- Parkwood Beach representative asked the status of the following: status of grading at the end of Teakwood-Gioioso stated that it will be addressed (installation of a berm) during final paving; who is the contact for any questions-CDM stated that it’s Chris Sharpe; timing to finish-Gioioso is still pushing by July 4, but this is dependent upon Beta’s paving recommendation; what is the betterment process-Municipal Maintenance reported that it’s not a public process and that each property owner is just given a final number.
These minutes represent a transcript of the meeting as held and will be made part of the project records unless the Engineer is otherwise notified of an error or omission.
