TRASH REMOVAL OPTIONS
FOR WAREHAM RESIDENTS
The Town of Wareham does not offer a trash pick up service. Residents must either purchase a combination beach/transfer station sticker at an annual cost of $30.00 for the disposal of household trash at the Marion or Rochester transfer station, or contract with private haulers. You may also purchase a one-day pass for $5.00.
At present, there are Four haulers licensed to do business in Wareham. They are:
- ABC Disposal, New Bedford (1-800-310-9111)
- Allied (formerly BFI), Fall River (1-800-825-3260)
- Howland, Plymouth (508-746-9600)
- My Trash Guys (508-591-7794)
Transfer station stickers are purchased through the Harbormaster’s Office at Wareham Town Hall, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, weekdays between 8:30AM and 4:30PM. You must be a resident or property owner to receive a sticker. You need to present your current registration for the vehicle and a picture ID. The sticker is good for the calendar year—January 1-December 31.
If you change vehicles or replace a windshield once you have purchased the sticker, you may get a replacement sticker PROVIDED you remove and return the old sticker—even if it’s in pieces. Without the old sticker being returned, you will be charged for a new sticker at the $30.00 rate.
