HURRICANE SAFETY
NOTICE
ALL BOAT OWNERS & YACHTSMEN
Weather conditions are favorable for a tropical storm or hurricane. We are advising you against "riding out the storm aboard your boat/yacht."
The fire department strongly recommends that you do NOT stay on your watercraft during a hurricane. Rescue personnel may be unable to assist you during the height of the storm.
BE ADVISED
ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO STAY ON ANY BOAT/YACHT DURING A TROPICAL STORM OR HURRICANE IS DOING SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT RISK THE LIVES AND SAFETY OF OUR PERSONNEL DURING HURRICANE CONDITIONS.
