HISTORIC ROOF RESTORATION
The Town of Wareham in conjunction with the Wareham Community Preservation Commission is seeking SEALED BID PROPOSALS from qualified applicants and/or firms for the restoration of the roofing systems at two National Register historical buildings at the Tremont Nail Factory Complex located on Elm Street, Wareham, MA.
Qualified applicants and/or firms are invited to submit proposals in the format outlined in the specifications to the Town Administrator, Memorial Town Hall, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571—No later than Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 12:00PM. The submission should include a bid proposal, transmitted in a separate sealed envelope, labeled as “TREMONT NAIL ROOF BID PROPOSAL.”
The contract shall be awarded to a qualified, responsive and responsible bidder offering the best price. The project is expected to be completed within 60 days of a signed contract. The Town of Wareham reserves the right to reject any and all proposals without liability.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00AM at the site.
