June 4, 2018
7:00 P.M.
Wareham Town Hall - Room 27

The purpose of the Elm Street Small Bridge Replacement Project is to repair the deficient bridge (BR W-06-005) over the Parker Mill Pond fish ladder spillway to permit vehicular traffic on Elm Street and improve pedestrian accommodations. The proposed bridge will accommodate two 11’-6” travel lanes and two 5’-6” sidewalks. The proposed improvements consist of replacing the existing bridge superstructure with a cement concrete deck. The new bridge deck will be supported by the existing stone abutments. Roadway improvements include installation of steel backed timber guardrail, full depth pavement, cement concrete sidewalks, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work. The project’s design and construction is being funded by MassDOT’s Small Bridge Program with construction anticipated to begin summer of 2019.
