NOTICE
REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
MUNICIPAL LAND LEASE FOR SOLAR PROJECT
WAREHAM FIRE DISTRICT, WAREHAM, MA
DATE OF RELEASE: July 15, 2011
Pursuant to the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, Sec 16 the Wareham Fire District Water Department (WFDWD) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to lease WFDWD-owned land for the purpose of designing, permitting, financing, constructing, owning, operating and maintaining a solar photovoltaic system (PV System) on the WFDWD’s property located off Upper Boundary Road Map 114 Lot E . The WFDWD does not intend to own or operate the PV system.
Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes marked “WFDWD Solar Farm –Technical Proposal” and “WFDWD Solar Farm – Payment Proposal”.
Proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Late proposals will be returned unopened. Proposals are to be sent to:

Proposal documents may be reviewed at 2550 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, MA, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., through September 6, 2011 or purchased for a $10.00 reproduction fee. Request for mailing a proposal will include the cost of postage. Please call 508-295-0450 for information.

The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, that are not both responsible and/or responsive if it is deemed in the best interest of the District.
The awarding authority is the WFDWD Board of Water Commissioners.
