Trail Work Day (Tuesday, February 11th)
Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area is a Town owned property that has retired cranberry bogs, stunning views of the Weweantic River, and wonderful hiking trails. A stretch of trail has been recently cleared from large trees that were obstructing hikers, and many of the logs, limbs, and twigs remain on the trail. Join TerraCorps/AmeriCorps Land Stewardship Coordinator, Mike Perrin, in an effort to get the trail back in proper shape! Meet at 29 Papermill Rd and plan to be out from 10:00am-12:00pm. We appreciate your support in stewarding our natural areas!
