Birding Series (starting Saturday, February 8th)

Birds are regarded as an incredible catalyst for nature appreciation, and Wareham hosts a large and seasonally shifting diversity of magnificent species!

Connect with the land and wildlife of Wareham by joining our TerraCorps/AmeriCorps Land Stewardship Coordinator, Mike Perrin, on a series of informative birding hikes! Each month will follow a topic relevant to the ecological happenings of the time of year, spanning from wintering seaducks to migrating warblers. No prior birding experience is needed, no specific birding equipment is needed (though bring a pair of binoculars if you have them!), and all are welcome!

Mike will be offering sessions on weekdays (3rd Wednesdays) and weekends (1st Saturdays) to accommodate varying schedules. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions, but attendance is not mandatory.

To RSVP for one (or all!) of the birding walks, please sign up through the Wareham Land Trust website: http://warehamlandtrust.org/category/events/. See the schedule for dates, times, topics, and locations. We hope you will join the flock of Wareham birders!
