MassDOT Advisory: Bourne, Wareham

Ramp Closures for Milling and Paving Operations

Work occurring in overnight hours Monday, July 13th through Friday July 17th

 

BOURNE, WAREHAM - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be performing milling and paving operations for one week in overnight hours on the Route 25 on and off ramps at exits 2 and 3 in Bourne and Wareham.  

The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 13, will conclude Friday morning, July 17, and will require ramp closures each night between the hours of 8:00 p.m. through the next day at 5:00 a.m.  Motorists will be directed around the work areas using message boards and detour signs.

The following closures are scheduled to take place:

  • 7/13-7/14, Wareham, exit 2 off Ramp and on ramp on Route 25 westbound
  • 7/14-7/15, Bourne, exit 3 off Ramp on Route 25 eastbound
  • 7/15-7/16, Bourne, exit 3 on ramp on Route 25 eastbound
  • 7/16-7/16, Wareham, exit 2 off Ramp on Route 25 westbound
  • 7/16-7/17, Bourne, exit 3 off Ramp on Route 25 westbound

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
