Seasonal Police Officers (Summer 2020) $15.25 – $17.00 / hour

The Town’s Human Resources Department, on behalf of the Wareham Police Department, is accepting applications for the positions of Seasonal Police Officers.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current Massachusetts Driver’s License, and a current license to carry firearms. They must have attended the Basic Reserve/Intermittent Recruit Academy (242 hours) and current Reserve/Intermittent In-Service Training.

Requirements: As a condition of continued employment, all applicants must be capable of earning and maintaining all training mandated for Reserve-Intermittent Police Officers by the Municipal Police Training Council, and any specific training mandated by the Wareham Police Department. Applications may be obtained here. Subject to background check, CORI/SORI check, pre-employment physical and drug test.
