Alternative Energy Committee

The mission of the Alternative Energy Committee is to:

• Become and remain informed regarding law, policies and regulations in the broad area of renewable enery and related technology which affect the Town
• Identify, develop, and recommend to the Select Board energy-related strategies to balance the health, safety and welfare of our Community and environment with economic development opportunities
• Suggest the the Select Board bylaw adjustment and/or the need for further study to execute those strategies
• Develop related educational information for the Community upon request of the Select Board
