Community Narcan Training

Please join the Wareham Police and Plymouth County Outreach on Thursday March 23rd from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Buzzards Bay Coalition's Onset Bay Center for a community Narcan training and conversation around all things substance use. During this training, community members will learn the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to respond to an overdose including the use of Narcan. We'll also be having a conversation about the free Plymouth County Outreach Program and what local law enforcement and peer recovery coaches are doing to combat the opioid crisis. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and leave with free Narcan and harm reduction tools. Everyone is welcome regardless of whether or not you live in Wareham!
