In February of 2019, The Town of Wareham's Building Department migrated from a paper application process to an online permitting system.
Click the "Apply Here" link below to access any of the following Building permit applications: Residential, Commercial, Sheet Metal, Sign, Trench Plumbing, and Gas:
1. Fill out the Online Application and submit it. (Registration Required.)
2. Application will then be reviewed by Inspectional Services. The Department will inform the applicant if more information is needed.
3. Once the review process is complete and no other documents/information are required, an email will be sent to the applicant informing them the permit fee has been added to the application. The fee can be paid for online using a credit/debit card or a check/money order.
Checks/money orders are to be mailed or dropped off to:

Wareham, MA 02571.
Checks/ Money Orders are to be made payable to the Town of Wareham.
NO CASH PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
4. Once the permit fee has been paid, the Applicant can then print the permit. You can do this by selecting “Permit Issuance” and clicking the print option.
