PRESS RELEASE

The Town of Wareham is happy to announce that we have hired a very experienced Town Clerk. Town Administrator, Derek Sullivan, announces that as of June 5, 2023 Debra A. Gremo will join the Town as the Town Clerk. The Select Board has ratified Ms. Gremo’s appointment. She was chosen from a field of very qualified candidates.

Debra brings to the Town many years of professional experience. Since 2015, she has held the position of Town Clerk and Chief Election Officer with the Town of Auburn. Her professional affiliations include being a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (CMC), a member of the Massachusetts Town Clerks Association (CMMC) and also a member of the New England Association of City and Town Clerks.

Debra Gremo would like the Town of Wareham residents to know that “I’m so glad Mr. Sullivan saw my credentials as being a fit for the Town of Wareham’s Clerk’s Office. I am very excited for the new challenges and opportunities and look forward to working with the Town offices and meeting the residents.”
